Property accountant

We are currently looking for Property accountant. The candidate will report to the Vice President, Property Management and will join a young and dynamic environment.

Head office: Vaudreuil

Position: Full time

• Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements;
• Prepare and coordinate budget and forecast ;
• Explain monthly variances vs operational budget;
• Prepare and coordinate budget forecasts for properties;
• Compilation of all annual expenses by property in order to allow Lease Managers to prepare the invoicing of operating costs and taxes relating to leases (13th invoices);
• Verify balance sheet items (A/R, A/P, Cash);
• Participate in various special projects;
• Help with rent collection;
• Any other related tasks.

• College or university degree in administration or accounting;
• Experience in accounting, analysis, budgeting and financial statement;
• Experience in commercial real estate accounting;
• French and English, spoken and written are required;
• Great sense of organization and time management;
• Good skills with MS Office and Yardi (an asset);
• Great attention to detail and problem solving.
