Leasing Manager (12 months replacement with a possibility of being a permanent position)

Job description

Harden is currently looking for a Leasing manager. The candidate will report to the Director, Leasing and will join a young and dynamic environment.

Head office: Vaudreuil

Position: Full time (40 hours per week)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leasing/and strategic merchandising of a specific portfolio of Shopping Centres;
  • In collaboration with the Director of leasing and under the direction of the Vice President, Leasing, manage rent roll and targets for the assigned portfolio;
  • Track cold calls and leasing activity on a daily basis;
  • In collaboration with the Director of leasing and under the direction of the Vice President, Leasing, negotiate and sign Leases, Offers to Lease, LOIs, Lease renewals and Amendments;
  • In collaboration with the Vice President, Leasing manage deadlines and criteria for financing;
  • Monitor each centre’s lease expiries, be proactive and plan ahead for each expiry;
  • Collaborate with the Tenant Coordination, Property management, Construction, and Development department for all new Tenants;
  • Manage updates of each centre’s information (text, site plans, visuals) in our portfolio and website with the leasing coordinator and graphic designer;
  • Prepare newsletters with the Marketing department;
  • Establish strong relationships and maintain ongoing contact with brokers, tenants and prospective tenants;
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports for the Executive Management;
  • Assist in the preparation of tradeshows;
  • Other related duties.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role;
  • A university degree - ideally related to business or real estate;
  • Master the French and English language, spoken and written;
  • Possess knowledge of Microsoft office suite;
  • Demonstrate good communication, negotiation, management and problem-solving skills, as well as display autonomy, initiative, and good sense of organization;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Maintain confidence by keeping information confidential;
  • Must own personal vehicle and have a valid driver’s license as some travel will be required.
