Job description

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Coordinator. The candidate will join a young and dynamic team within an environment in full expansion.

Head office: Vaudreuil

Position: Full time 40 hours per week

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the Property Managers (PM) by accurately determining the supply, repair, or replacement needs of their sites (occasional travel to sites may be required).
  • Request quotes, grants mandates after approval, issues purchase orders and do follows up on maintenance requirements (electricity, plumbing, ventilation, …).
  • Prepare current and up-to-date records for the progress of all maintenance projects,
  • Prepare and update a master list of suppliers,
  • Coordinate the installation, removal, storage, and inventory of Christmas lights for all sites,
  • Manage snow removal contracts (identifying all suppliers, invitations for proposals and invoicing),
  • Serve as the resource person for the Facility Manager Application (Yardi) by ensuring the creation of service requests for employees and suppliers, with proper follow-up,
  • Responsible for coordinating and ensuring all periodic maintenance is accomplished,
  • Prepare and manage requests orders,
  • Manage and coordinate replacement and repair projects (equipment, plumbing, electricity, …).
  • Meet with contractors to plan the work and repairs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of procedures and working methods.
  • Prepare and maintain multiple inventories (HVAC equipment, fire protection equipment, fire protection systems, etc.)
  • Prepares and manages the process;
  • Perform other related duties.

Qualifications

  • DEP in building maintenance, or any other equivalent training / equivalent experience,
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure,
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail,
  • Dynamic personality and a team player,
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel),
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written) are required.
