Marketing Director

Harden is currently looking for a Marketing Director. The candidate will join a young and dynamic environment.

Location : Vaudreuil-Dorion
Status : Full time (40 hrs per week)

Duties and responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and oversee the brand strategy for corporate and shopping centres, and ensure message consistency across all communication channels (digital, public relations, events);
  • Design and implement the annual marketing strategy plan and budget for properties and corporate;
  • Develop marketing initiatives and activities tailored to the needs of different centres and tenants to increase awareness and foot traffic in commercial spaces;
  • Analyze market and industry trends, target clientele and competition, in order to determine requirements and propose improvements to our marketing actions;
  • Manage mandates assigned to advertising, marketing agencies and other partners;
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines regarding social media, analytics, digital marketing programs, privacy and data management;
  • Stay abreast of new available technologies such as artificial intelligence and develop strategies for their optimization.

Campaign Management and Performance

  • Create and manage the annual marketing calendar and ensure deadlines are met;
  • Plan, execute and optimize marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, etc.) and evaluate results;
  • Plan and manage text and video content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and others);
  • Manage content for our various websites and their content planning (harden.ca, lesavenuesvaudreuil.com);
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance based on key performance indicators;
  • Manage mandates assigned to advertising, marketing agencies and other partners;
  • On an ongoing basis, ensure, improve and enhance the experience;

Organizational Collaboration

  • Collaborate with departments to align various activities and company priorities;
  • Play an expert advisory role in visual identity and ensure adherence to best practices;
  • Identify and seize commercialization opportunities for each property;
  • Work closely with the leasing team to manage the marketing of vacant spaces and new tenants, including tracking vacant spaces, signage, updating portfolios, brochures, technical sheets, leasing listing sites, various reports, etc.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead the team so that it provides the highest possible level of service to all clients, both internal and external, and continuously improves the customer experience.

Special Events and Promotion

  • Manage the creation, production and ordering of promotional materials with various suppliers while ensuring compliance with our graphic standards and brand identities;
  • Support the logistics of exhibitions and other corporate events;
  • Event management (10–15 events) and follow-up with external suppliers (public and corporate);
  • Contest management (document preparation, coordination, follow-up with winners, etc.);
  • Manage tenant displays on the outdoor screen;
  • Manage corporate marketing projects as well as leasing marketing projects (prepaid cards, videos, social media, QR code cards, external listings, newsletters);
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in the real estate industry;
  • Experience in employee management;
  • Strong managerial skills with business acumen, big-picture vision and a solid team spirit;
  • Excellent organizational, planning and multi-deadline management skills;
  • Expert proficiency in SEO, SEM, marketing automation, content marketing and successful paid campaign execution;
  • Experience in budget planning and budget monitoring;
  • Bilingual (French and English) and able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in both languages

As outlined in the job description, it involves, among other things, communicating, both orally and in writing, with business partners and clients located in Quebec and Ontario. Following an analysis, we have determined that the tasks associated with this role require knowledge of English in addition to French (both spoken and written).

However, Groupe Harden minimizes the number of positions for which knowledge of a language other than French is required and only demands proficiency in English when it is necessary for the execution of an employee's tasks.
